Emergent has officially become India’s newest artificial intelligence unicorn after securing a massive Series C funding round. The company raised $130 million in a round led by Creaegis, pushing its overall valuation to $1.5 billion.
The fresh capital injection also drew participation from star-studded existing backers, including SoftBank, Khosla Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. With this financial backing secured, the AI agent platform is setting its sights on rapid global scaling and an aggressive annual recurring revenue target of $500 million over the coming year.
