India's artificial intelligence ecosystem has reached a major milestone as Emergent secures unicorn status following a significant Series C funding round. The company raised $130 million in this latest injection of capital, a round that was led by Creaegis.
This fresh funding pushes Emergent to a valuation of $1.5 billion. The round also drew participation from star-studded existing backers, including SoftBank, Khosla Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
With this capital secured, the AI agent platform looks toward rapid global scaling to sustain its momentum. The company has set an aggressive annual recurring revenue target of $500 million to be achieved over the coming year.
